Dawei Chi Dawei Chi is an associate attorney in Tsoi & Associates. Mr. Chi obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and received his Juris Doctor degree from University of California, Davis. During law school, Mr. Chi was the Asylum Problem Writing Chair on the Moot Court Honors Board, a Senior Articles Editor for Environs, a Web/Archives Editor for Journal of International Law & Policy, and the Cultural Outlook Chair for Asian Pacific Islander Law Student Association. Mr. Chi served as a research assistant to Dean Kevin Johnson. Upon graduation, Mr. Chi was awarded membership to the Order of Barristers, a national honor society that recognizes achievements in oral advocacy and brief writing skills. Prior to joining Tsoi & Associates, Mr. Chi clerked at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, One LLP, California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, as well as the Immigration Law Clinic of UC Davis. He also served as an extern for the Hon. Sargis at the Eastern District of California Bankruptcy Court.

Mr. Chi’s practice focuses on real estate and business transactions, as well as business immigration law.

Mr. Chi is licensed to practice in the State of California.
